Hello and welcome to my website, I am Mark Sunter, a freelance web designer, graphic designer and IT handyman based in the small town of Malvern in Worcestershire. I specialise in creating easy to use, well designed websites with strong graphic design and computer art aspects. Website Design
When designing websites I take into account numerous aspects which help make the perfect website for the client, some of these aspects are often overlooked but can also be quite hard to pinpoint which is where my experience and skills come in handy. A good design for a website needs to keep in mind a few key points, the purpose of the website, the type of content, the message intended and the intended feel of the website. All of these can be subliminal and hard to establish but are all important factors in designing websites. When I design and build websites I don’t just code out any old website, I try to bring a collection of different pieces together to create a complete digital experience incorporating good design, ease of use, digital marketing, social marketing, branding and customer experience.
All my websites are built using Content Management Systems, my two favourite choices are:-
WordPress, which is used very commonly as a blogging software, but is also perfect as a CMS, is very popular and well supported. WordPress also has a very easy to use management system which is ideal for newcomers running and managing their own websites. Used by over 12% of the 1,000,000 biggest websites, WordPress is the most popular CMS in use today.
Drupal, which is a full CMS software package with a very large dedicated user base and lots of advanced features.
Both CMS packages offer the people I make websites for the easy ability to add and change content themselves on an as need basis, this can be especially useful for businesses that want to display up to date news and information on their website.
